Belladrey Press is a small, independent, family-owned book publisher in Gahanna, Ohio. We take our name from the two people who started it all at our kitchen table — our daughters, Isabella and Audrey — and we build books the way a family builds anything that lasts: slowly, with care, and with everyone pitching in.
We publish a deliberately short list, because we would rather do a few books well than many books quickly. Our titles span genres and generations — including stories written by the next generation of our own family. Every book is chosen, edited, designed, and championed by hand.

Independent means we answer to readers and writers, not to a boardroom. It means an author can reach a real person, a cover gets argued over at the dinner table, and a debut from a young writer gets the same craft and pride as anything else on our list. We are not trying to be the biggest publisher — only to make books you will want to keep on the shelf long after you have finished them.
